Chessington World of Adventures is a curious place to hold a two day conference…but on the 16th & 17th June Oris Forums held their Annual Retail Risk Forum there and it was great success! We were pleased to be invited to get involved and deliver a session on Lone Working.
Nicole gave an insight into why retailers should look specifically at Lone Worker risks. And Kristen, Owen, Ewan and Louise used forum theatre to bring to life a scenario where a lone worker was subjected to threatening and abusive behaviour. Delegates were then able to interview the manager and staff member involved to understand what went wrong, why people behave the way they do and to discuss possible solutions.
The feedback from the room was amazing with delegates telling us how useful and powerful the session was.
We still haven’t got over the hotel rooms in the Azteca Hotel or being able to see giraffes and monkeys whilst eating breakfast…a curious place indeed and we can’t wait to go back!
