Well what a week that was…
Last week whilst Adi was busy delivering Stress Management courses in Berkshire, Nicole and Kristen were at the Safety and Health Expo in London, chairing and speaking at the Lone Worker Theatre. They had an amazing three days meeting and talking to lots of people who share our concerns about lone and vulnerable workers.
Nicole delivered two sessions: one on Managing Violence and Aggression Towards Staff and one on the challenges of Designing and Delivering Effective Lone Worker Training. There were some great questions from the audience and we have received some lovely personal thanks from people that attended.
Kristen stepped in and chaired the panel discussion on the Challenges of Embedding Effective Lone Worker Solutions. The key take away from the session was “Engage early, listen to your lone workers, make it work for THEM and find a way of keeping the enthusiasm alive”!
