Every year Worthwhile Training supports a small number of charities by offering free or reduced fees training and consultancy. It is our way of giving back and saying “thank you” to all those people that do great charity work in difficult circumstances. In recent years we have supported a domestic violence refuge and a refugee befriending service, amongst others.
This year we spent a great day delivering free Lone Worker training to Fusion Housing. We were impressed with the work they do and it was clear from their application, that like many other not-for-profit organisations that although the need and the will is there to support their staff, sadly the money doesn’t always follow.
